Senior citizen surprised 1Malaysia people’s aid (BR1M) has gone up

A senior citizen of Malaysia was surprised to learn that their benefits in the1Malaysia people’s aid (online BR1M) had been increased a great deal. The People’s 1 Malaysia Aid (BR1M) is a programme that came up as a brainchild of Mr Datuk Seri Najib Razak- the Prime Minister of Malaysia. His popularity, especially among those on the lower ladder in the socioeconomic group increased tenfold. The programme came in 2011 and the first batch of money released in the year 2012. The senior citizen, a seventy two year old, Thien Hin Yuen said he didn’t expect that the increase was going to happen as he had always thought that the promise to increase the funding was just a mere promise.
The aid’s distribution is divided into some four different categories. The first category is entitled to RM650 is a category set aside for households that are earning a cumulative total that’s less than RM300 every month. The second category is the category comprising of individuals who are single, above the age of twenty one and are earning less than RM2000. This category will be entitled to RM300 per person.

Price hikes trump BR1M for Kajang voters

The abuse of power together with the reduced living standards is going to be key determinants of whoever will emerge victorious in the forthcoming by election. Opinions suggest that Pakatan Rakyat is going to be favoured than the Barisan Nasional’s (BN) in Kajang.Amongst those having the highest concerns for the inflation of the country, Umcedel director Prof Dr Mohammad Redzuan Othman stated that the civil servants and the university students were the most concerned. The rise in the prices of houses on the other hand had a very heavy weight when it comes to the socioeconomic issues of the country or rather the Kajang voters polling at 83% while increased crime and illegal immigrants scored 79% and 77% respectively and unemployment stood at 69%. Unexpectedly, the People’s 1 Malaysia Aid (BR1M) will play no role in soliciting votes of the Kajang people for the Barisan Nasional’s (BN) candidate. Only 33% of the voters said that the Barisan Nasional’s (BN) will sway them to vote for the ruling party’s candidate. In contrast, 59% said that the People’s 1 Malaysia Aid (BR1M) won’t sway them at all.
71% of the Chinese who were polled stated that they won’t be swayed by the People’s 1 Malaysia Aid (BR1M) in anyway while the Indians and Malays with the same sentiments polled at 34% and 53% respectively. In contrast, 53%, 38% and 22% of Indians, Malays and Chinese communities respectively said that they would vote in favour of the Barisan Nasional’s (BN) if they received the BR1M 4.0.
